In the video ‘Mother_Tongue’ I make an attempt to rekindle that what is lost.
To all who are bilingual, who live in a foreign country, whose families reside somewhere across borders, and who wish they spoke to them more often. Language is at the core of everything we do, think, communicate, and feel. It is an irreplaceable part of our lives. And losing one's mother tongue is like losing a part of oneself. Often accompanied by shame, regret, sadness, and frustration.
