In the aftertalks of our rehearsals of THE MOST ROMANTIC PINK, we realised how powerfull this experience of attachment and detachment was.
Together with CORPO, Rotterdam, and artist Femke van Heijningen, we explored what this somatic stillness/movement could mean for people and their partners, sisters, parents, etc.

“I felt like it was a metaphor for our entire relationship. Re-adjusting, trying to find a new comfortable position, being very uncomfortable at times. But even throughout these moments of discomfort.. I felt a strong sense of connection through the belly. The belly connection stayed.”

The workshop was held in small groups with a maximum of 4 couples. Each couple starting in an embracing position. After being sewn together, in their own time, they could detach from one another. Experiences were shared (or not) in the after talk.
